When we arrived this morning, Kristen was again able to open her eyes and acknowledge we were here. She still seems to be resting comfortably but is still running and fever, and her heart rate is still elevated. The chest x-ray from this morning looked slightly better than yesterdays, but it is still in the awful category as far as chest x-rays go. They did start feeding last night, they started at 10ml/hr, and have bumped her up to 20ml/hr. They will slowly work this up over the next few days. We saw the infectious disease doctor this morning, still no news, everything they have tested for shows negative. They are still throwing a broad range of drugs at her in hopes something will knock this thing down.

The respiratory tech said her breathing looks better today, but that may just be due to the level of sedation, but we'll take what we can get!

We will post more as the day goes on, but once again ask for your prayers for healing, wisdom of the medical team with regard to her treatment, and strength for us as we work our way through this. We would also like to praise God for the caring and compassion of the medical team, and all the friends and family around us holding us up in prayer.
