Still Hanging in There

Kristen is still doing well tonight. Just extremely exhausted. She received some whole blood this afternoon so that should help boost her energy. She is still eating well and so far has been free from the nasty side effects of chemotherapy. But there is always tomorrow and we wait and see. We have greatly enjoyed the nursing staff that we've had the past couple of days. They are both in their mid-20's and don't seem to mind taking some time to visit. We share the 12th floor with the palliative care. Look up the root word palliate if you don't already know it. That is a little disconcerting. The patients there are kept in a very controlled environment. You even have to wear booties over your shoes so nothing is brought into the area.

If you have tried to call me and I haven't answered please forgive me. I sometimes don't feel much like talking. It is easier for me to text back than actually have a conversation some times. :0)
