When we were here last year we picked up some figurines to keep around to cheer us. We'd pick them up from the gift shop downstairs. When I was down there the other day I saw some called Aye Chihuahua. One of them was a Chihuahua on a motorcycle. Kristen had to have it. It reminds her of her Uncle Bland and his dog Harley Bell.
Kristen is still doing well. She says she doesn't feel bad just blah. She should finish with her Cytarabine and Flurdarabine around 8 p.m. Wednesday. They do 10 rounds of these drugs. One of each every 12 hours. Today she had the funniest day nurse, Ethel. What a name right? Great nurse very conscientious but so dingy too! The staff we have seem happier with their jobs than ones in the past. They take more time to get to know us and vice versa. Hopefully we will have her again tomorrow.
Time goes by soooooooo slowly when you are at the hospital. I get really antsy but at least I can leave for a little bit. Kristen did get as far as the first floor today. But what a pain in the rear to drag along her IV tree. And the tubes, if they were colored it would almost be like decorations on a real Christmas tree.
I am grateful for your continued prayers.
