We are still in a holding pattern waiting on a bed at MDA for transfer. Everything else is lined up, but we are just waiting. If we were in Houston, it would be as easy as going down to the ER room and checking her in. The staff here at WRMC is great, and our local oncology team is wonderful, they just all admit that this will probably be something unusual. They have thrown just about every anti-biotic/viral/fungal IV medication at her but nothing has knocked this down. If there isn't any movement this morning with MDA, then they will do another broncoscopy along with some lung biopsies and some heart work (like a sonogram) to make sure there is nothing on a heart valve that might be sluffing off into the lungs. She continues to have a fever, at times low grade, and at times not much at all, then it will spike to 102 or 103 for awhile but they seem to be able to knock it down with Tylenol. Please continue prayers for:
1) Some kind of diagnosis as to what might be going on
2) A bed to open at MDA and safe transport for Kristen
3) Strength for Kristen, Jill and I as we work through this
