We can now call it Remission.

Kristen is officially in Remission. Her platelets were over 100 today. We are both exhausted and I'm sure Devin is too. We got up early and he drove us to the airport in Tulsa for a 8:10 flight. By 10:30 we were sitting in the apartment. We did manage to snag a short nap before our appointments today. Kristen had labs and we met with the transplant doctor. Looks like as soon as the details can be worked out we will be starting transplant. Yea! We have a couple of easy days and then Thursday we have appointment after appointment. We have appointments on Friday too. Our tentative plan is to head back to AR on Friday evening or Saturday morning. Then we are just on hold until we are told otherwise!

Thank you again for all the prayers. Pray with us now that all the details are worked out so that we can move to transplant as soon as possible. Kristen is ready to move forward. The sooner we do, the sooner she can be healthy again and living a normal life. We are so thankful for the blessing of Remission. Thankful for answered prayer. There is nothing too big or too small to take to God. And thank you also for praying that she would eat well over Easter. We managed to put some weight back on her. It was all of that hash brown casserole and Texas sheet cake. Oh, and candy from the Easter bunny.
