Where we are now

So here is our new timeline. On May 27th Kristen once again sees Dr. Popat. Hopefully at that time they will be ready again to admit her for transplant. We should know more in the coming week about new cords, if they will continue the case study protocol (expand one of the cords), and a treatment timeline. Until then Kristen takes it easy and recovers from her virus. We want her as healthy as possible when treatment begins. It is awful to have to face this delay. We all want to get going, get this over, and get back to a normal life.

In the mean time, thank God that he was in the details so that Kristen did not enter into this and face life threatening pneumonia. Ask Him to continue to oversee the little things, that no detail goes untouched by His hands. Ask Him to help us to remain calm and patient as He controls the timing. Thank Him for the wonderful transplant team we have with Dr. Popat. We are thankful for them. Also, please pray that other patients were not infected before we knew that Kristen had more than allergies.
