Our prayers have been answered and it looks like Kristen is in remission! The Dr. won't officially call it remission until her platelets reach at least 100. But her marrow only had 3% blasts (remission is under 5%). And...I am typing this from my computer in Fayetteville. We managed to get an earlier flight into Tulsa and then Devin met us part way. Eric, pilot when we fly on the private plane, picked us up from the airport and drove us to meet Devin. We are so glad to get a couple of days away from Houston. We do have to be back on Monday afternoon for appointments. We decided a couple of days at home were better than none.
Please continue to pray for 1)Upcoming transplant, 2)liver numbers are still elevated but have dropped some, 3)our precious time here with the family all together.
We meet with the transplant doctor on Monday. Now that she's considered in remission we will need to have various tests done to clear her for transplant. I don't know a time line for this or our next step.
Praise God for this good news. It is Good Friday in more ways than one!
