Day +48

We had Kristen's ATC appointment and met with the PA. She was a bit concerned because Kristen's platelets are continuing to drop even though she stopped the medication that they thought was causing the fluctuation. They are a little concerned that she may have an infection that they have not been able to detect. We have to go in again for labs tomorrow so they can make sure her platelets will be high enough for the weekend. They have scheduled a bone marrow biopsy for next week to check on what may be going on. You know how Kristen loves those. Some good news though, they have reduced her immune suppressant medication again. With that they were able to reduce her magnesium also. So on her days off next week she may not have to do an IV at all!

So, please pray that her platelet number would recover and if there is an infection please let them discover it and be able to treat it. But also thank God for the fact that they are reducing some of her meds and that she seems to be doing so well otherwise.
