Day +6

Today was a relatively quiet day. Kristen continues to do very well and well are all amazed. She still has her appetite, and minimal mouth pain at this point. Her platelet count was still low today, so they gave her another bag of platelets. The doctors said this is very common as her body is not producing any blood cells at this time. She will receive a neuprogen shot tomorrow which should start to stimulate the growth of white blood cells, the first to regenerate. We'll see what this does for her, the last one she had brought on flu like symptoms.

I brought Kristen a flip calendar today, and she quickly went through the months of June, July, August, and September and put the 100-day count down on it. It seems like a long summer, however June is almost over... Not too much else to report today, please continue to pray for her cells to en graft and produce the various blood cells.
