Day +5

Praise be to God!

Jill and I were talking this evening, and sometimes we forget to say thank you. T

Thank you to all who have been holding Kristen up in prayer, it is clearly working! She is still feeling amazingly well, and the doctors said again today that they couldn't imagine things going any better.

Kristen's platelet count dropped below 20 today, so they gave her a bag of platelets to bring them up above the danger zone. The doctors reiterated that this would be the first of many transfusions Kristen will need over the next few weeks as it will take awhile for the new stem cells to begin producing blood. They plan to give Kristen a neupron shot on Friday to stimulate white blood cell growth. This will help her fight any bugs that may come her way.

Other than that, it was a pretty quiet day, Kristen's tie-dyed T-Shirt turned out great, I'm not sure what the craft projects will be for tomorrow, but I'm sure we will find something to keep her busy.

Once again, thank you for all the prayers, and continue to lift her in prayer that her stem cells will en graft in the coming weeks and begin to produce the various types of blood cells.
