Day 47

So my ever changing daughter looks like Bethany Frankel today. Her jaw is a little swollen so that it looks squared off. After waiting for 2 hours just to see the doctor, we found out that Kristen's rash is not because of GVHD. So it is most likely an allergic reaction to some medication. Dr. Popat is referring her on to dermatology. We've noticed that referring a patient to a specialty department is very common here at MD A. It looks like we are moving to a 3 day a week schedule. We are thankful for that.

Kristen and I are watching seasons 1 & 2 of Dexter. Barbara let us borrow them and now we are hooked. It's a perfect day to stay in. It's gray and rainy. A definite break in the heat.

Please continue to pray for relief from this rash. Pray that she continues to be diligent in drinking her fluids. (She's slipped up a little and her creatine level was up. Remember this is important because she needs to get enough fluids to protect her liver from some of the medications.) And as always, pray for our ultimate goal of healing.
