Day 45

Quasimodo is gone, but I woke up to Renee Zellweger this morning. Kristen's eyes were still a little puffy and squinty and her top lip looked bee stung. The rash that she is experiencing is moving around on her body. This morning the worst places seemed to be her forearms and knees. The places where the rash is the worst appears raised and welt like. She says that it hurts a little when I goop her up with the lotion. Poor baby. Her appetite remains good and she is drinking well. Thank God for that. I have juices, Gatorade, soda, lemonade, and water all available for her. No excuse for not drinking enough. I've also learned that buying the smaller bottles or cans are important. She doesn't feel as overwhelmed about getting through them.

Please continue to pray that Kristen has relief from this rash. She is extremely self conscious about whatever is going on with her face, whether it is some accidental exposure to the cream or some of the rash on her face. Continue to give thanks and praise for the break from constantly being at the hospital or clinic. We don't realize how worn out we are until we get the break. Our major prayer request is for ultimate healing. This prayer is on going and only time will tell how God answers it.
