Day 43

This has been a really fun week with Anne visiting. I've certainly enjoyed being able to drop Kristen and Anne off at the hospital on clinic days and then going up later. We are very pleased with her labs so far. It looks like her platelets are starting to mature and develop and her white count is staying up where we like it. Today we had to show the APN a rash that we started to notice on Tuesday afternoon. It has spread from her shoulders on down her back, stomach, wrists and ankles. The APN preformed a biopsy before Kristen finished at clinic. We should know more in the next 48 hours or so. I actually don't expect to hear anything until Monday unless it turns out to be very serious. (Oh, and I will spare you the photo of her getting the biopsy.) Her chest x-ray from earlier this week shows definite improvement. Amen!

Please continue to pray for healing. Pray that Kristen's rash is no big deal and easily dealt with by the cream that they prescribed. Continue to pray for the small improvements that we see everyday. We are grateful for them.

Thank you for the cards. Kristen and I enjoyed looking through another batch from CUMC today.
