In Fayetteville

Kristen and I are back in Fayetteville. The next few weeks will go one of these ways:

1) Kristen will go a couple of weeks and then start chemo to keep her in remission. If this happens, transplant would not take place until her body recovers from another round of chemo.
OR
2) Kristen will be scheduled for transplant in the next 3 weeks or so and we move forward with the same story as last summer. 100 days in Houston while she recovers from transplant and the cells engraft.

We aren't sure which way it will go. If the transplant team is able to get everything together and have the cord blood matched then we go straight to transplant. That's the way we would like it to go. However, it is completely out of our hands. We are at the mercy of the speed of the cord blood bank.

You can help us by praying 1- that God prepare us mentally and physically for the next few months (especially Kristen's body for the tough battle ahead), 2- that the best possible match be made for Kristen. One that will fully engraft and free her from leukemia and future relapses. 3- that God continue to prepare the way for us.

Finally, give thanks to God for all that He has already touched and continues to touch in our lives.
