6 Month Check-up!

Pray for safe travel today for Devin and Kristen as they journey to Houston. They have an afternoon flight so some of the road issues should be resolved. While she is there they will do a follow-up bone marrow biopsy (check to see how she has engrafted, no sign of the leukemia, etc.), MRI of her abdomen (will check for damage that the transplant could cause), bone density scan, and complete pulmonary scan. She will meet with Dr. Popat on Thursday for a review of the results. We don't anticipate any problems.

I was thinking about this check up and how well everything has gone for Kristen. What a testimony for the power of prayer. Thank you again for being part of our prayer army. It was only a year ago that we even began to realize that something was wrong. Only a year! We prepared for a long battle and have been blessed in the fact that Kristen's recovery was so swift. Thanks be to God!
