This, That, and Another Thing

Great football weekend. My teams all won. And it was cold enough to get a Sunday afternoon nap in during the games!

I love these cooler nights. I wake up with a kitty cat next to me. You know it is cold when the cat doesn't want to get out of bed in the morning!

And on a more serious note. Tell your child(ren), spouse, parents, siblings, etc. that you love them. A couple of things happened here over the weekend to remind me that your world can change in an instance. Don't wait until it is too late to tell them how you feel about them. And DON'T assume that they know. Words should accompany actions. Especially with your kids. Tell them you love them, tell them you are proud of them, tell them you appreciate them. If you are someone who has trouble saying the words. Write them a note. Let them know.

So I've been thinking, no surprise there? Anyway, I've been praying for sometime for something specific. I've had a couple of avenues that this could be answered. Avenues that seemed obvious. It's also obvious that God has cut these avenues off from me. In the mean time, I continue to pray for this something. I DO believe it is in line with what God desires for me. But, not in the way I thought it could be easily answered. Can you identify? Has God given you a "not yet" as an answer to one of your prayers?
