Kristen's Plans for the Future

When I went to wake Steven this morning this tune popped into my head. "Rise and shine and give God the glory glory!" Growing up we always had music time before our Sunday School started. I remember singing this then and in vacation bible school. To any of my old SS teachers and music leaders, did you think about the seeds you were planting or the garden you were tending? Thanks!

Kristen has applied to the University of Arkansas for the Spring semester. She decided that it was best if she stay closer to home during her recovery time. Last Saturday she took her Dad out to look at apartments. Gee, do you think she is ready to get away from us? I'm so glad she wants to assert her independence. Devin and I have trouble shutting off caretaker mode. She's continuing on in Political Science with the intention to go on to law school. She still is weekly having labs and it looks like we will be headed back to Houston for a day or two in mid-October. Exercise and maintaining good eating habits are her biggest challenges. Her appetite is off in a major way. So if you would please pray for her in this area. That she would learn to eat regularly to maintain her health and get proper rest and exercise. Thank you for all the prayers as our family adjusts to being back together. We are doing well, not without our moments, but we are aware of the need to work together in this adjustment.
