Day +39

Today was a very quiet here in Houston. We were able to stay home today and give Kristen her meds ourselves. We just ran a few errands this afternoon and picked up around the apartment. I picked Jill up from the airport around 4, we dropped back by the apartment and picked up Kristen and then went to the Cheesecake Factory (Jill's favorite) for dinner. Early on in the process, the folks at the hospital indicated that we would not be able to eat out the entire 100 days post transplant. As it turns out, that's really only for the first few weeks. Now that Kristen's counts are recovering we can eat at "reputable places", we just have to make sure they don't garnish her plate, or have any fresh fruit or veggies on it. Kristen starts the day tomorrow at 7 o'clock, so they will drop me off at the airport on the way so I can head back to Fayetteville.
