Day +2

Happy Father's Day. We felt fortunate to be able to be together for Father's Day. I let Devin sleep in and hurried up to be with Kristen at the hospital. She had a sleep deprived night. Her Infusion pump kept having air in the line and beeping all night long. Add that to the fact that the nurses and lab come in starting around 4-5in the morning and waking her up. I sat with her while she slept the morning away. With someone there, the docs and nurses will ask me questions instead of waking her. I guess I was kind of like the guard dog! Kristen had a headache and a little nausea after she woke. They were able to give her meds to help. Devin, Steven and I had a fancy lunch at Whataburger so we could hurry back up to Kristen. We just hung out the rest of the afternoon putting together a puzzle. Time seemed to fly by. Steven and I have run back to the apartment for supper but plan on heading back up to tell Kristen goodnight. Once again the Doctor reminded her to remain active while she felt good. He still expects her to take a downward turn any day. He says it will get worse before it gets better.
